Loutra

loutra is an immersive-sim artist residency videogame, developed as an interactive journal for artistic, immersive and atmospheric systems in games design. It is designed as an open-source artgam- where artists can host their own installations and exhibitions within the virtual environment.

loutra receives ongoing updates to exhibit artists, offering an experimental virtual space they can work from. Artists are encouraged to consider how their existing practices translate to virtual contexts, and how this form of ‘immersive simulation’ influences how their work is conveyed and experienced.

Artists are encouraged to explore the characteristics of virtual environments that are not present in real-life spaces.

Zetatech XPR

Zetatech XPR is an esoteric UI puzzle game inspired by dark cyberpunk aesthetics, programmer art and obtuse operating systems. The player haunts an archaic computer environment, re-experiencing the data of an unknown user.

Wishing Well

wishing well is a physics-platformer technical demo & proof of concept for a third-person coin-toss style videogame, set within the premise of a golden coin hopping itself into a well to make a wish.
A continuation on the low-fidelity pixel style, introducing more pastoral components and a more realistic and tactile premise than other projects.

MoonWorld

Moonworld is a subversive grapple-hook platformer that coerces players into straying from their objective in pursuit of free-roam. fragments of an abandoned theme park merge with apartment blocks, large batteries, and vibrant space-basketball courts found in low-earth orbit, a stopping point between the earth and the moon. The player is told to go down a glass tube, but that separates them from the city that is begging to be explored. the player can float, swoop and glide through a golf course, community garden, a UFO and friendly stars.
-MoonWorld and MoonWorld: Arcade Mode were made in one month as part of Tour De Moon as part of Unboxed: Creativity in the UK, a nation-wide festival celebrating diversity and talent.

Nokia World Nokia World was developed for the NOKIA3310Jam where the game resolution is fixed to the resolution of the infamous Nokia 3310 Cell phone. the player strolls through one of these phones, talking with personified versions of the phone applications such as Snake or The Calculator, before the phone shuts off forever.
